Job Card
Factory45 is a 5 module online course, totaling 34 presentations. Each lesson is jam packed with information, lots of which needed to go on the slides.
We had to create a look and feel that could guide students through the content, and ensure they wouldn't get 'lost'—not even in an 80 slide lesson covering fashion design topics in depth.
About the client
Shannon Whitehead-Lohr is a sustainable fashion advocate, consultant, and entrepreneur. She mentors her clients through Factory45, the company she founded that helps independent designers launch sustainable and ethical apparel businesses.
In the past couple of years, she's worked with close to a hundred entrepreneurs, and has been featured in Entrepreneur, Huffington Post and Forbes, all while growing her business to six figures. Rock on, Shannon.
Results
Precision animation and structured slide design that lives up to Shannon's amazing content kept students focused and engaged for the entire 4 month course.
We included the script for each slide in the presenter notes, with clear indications of when to click to animate, allowing her to record the course right in Keynote. No need to buy expensive recording software.
All in all, we saved Shannon 115 hours, time she could use to promote the third launch/run of Factory45, educate the public about the grim realities behind clothes they wear, and combat 'fast fashion'.
“When you make the decision to outsource parts of your business you want to feel like you're hiring a partner. MDD was the creative partner I didn't know I needed.”
