Copy & Paste Without Breaking Squarespace
Most of us write copy in a word processor (like MS Word or Pages), and then copy and paste it into Squarespace's text blocks. This sounds harmless enough.
If so, why do we get frequent emails asking why copy & paste 'breaks' Squarespace websites?
The reason is simple: your text contains embedded formatting.
That means the style you've used in your word processor, like size and line spacing, is also copied and pasted. This is what messes up the styling of your fonts and 'breaks' your website.
You can avoid the problem using the built-in Paste as Plain Text clipboard in Text Block toolbar.
